Magic Carpet Ride: Cacao, Breathwork & Sound Immersion

  • Imaginarium 1 Woodland Avenue Motueka, Tasman, 7120 New Zealand (map)

A VOYAGE for the SOUL.

Cacao Ceremony & Conscious Connected Breathwork, accompanied by a Medicinal Shamanic Soundscape experience and integrated with the high frequency of the Tibetan Bowls.

A full rainbow spectrum of sound and sensory bliss. Every cell in your body will be ALIVE and LIT ALL THE WAY UP!

Sarah Beale & Kamal Ortiz are Soul buddies from way back, and are coming together to weave the magick of their gifts in co-creation of a truly spectacular experience for you.

Beginning with a Cacao Ceremony led by Sarah Beale, utilising the purest therapeutic ceremonial grade cacao from Seleno Health, with the addition of blue lotus infusion for internal vision, we will give gratitude, set intentions & open our hearts in remembrance of our connection to the Earth. Cacao is packed full of nutrition, nourishing the physical body, boosting circulation, a tonic for the heart and mind. The spirit of Mama Cacao will help us to expand our awareness and connection to ourselves and the world around us. Cacao will set the foundation for the deep dive into Breathwork and to enhance the potency of that experience.

Sarah will then guide you through a very powerful Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey (based on the Holotropic method). This Breathwork is one of her favourite healing modalities because it is fun, effective and powerful. You may experience bliss, laughter, tears, huge emotional release, clear traumas and energy blocks which have been held for aeons within your body or family line. This is deep work which goes beyond the personal and can traverse realms, past, present & future. If you haven't tried breathwork before- take this opportunity to DO IT!

Kamal is our medicinal sound shaman who will be curating a beautiful soundscape to smoothly caress your senses and carry you through your magic carpet breathwork ride.

Throughout all this, you will be intuitively guided by Sarah's voice, safely held, in all your vulnerability and human-ness. Every part of you is welcome and loved.

Sarah will interweave light-language, toning sound and reiki energy into the room to hold a very potent container for this journey.

The Tibetan bowls will bathe the space in high frequency goodness as you integrate and rest in stillness. A time to receive and surrender into pure bliss. The Tibetan bowls are hand-made in the Himalayas and have the ability to shift energy & dissolve dis-ease in the body. The result is a profound sense of peace.

About Kamal Ortiz:

Kamal has been working with plant medicine since 2012. The spirit of plants have literally taught him how to DJ, how to sing, how to heal, how to dance, how to pray in this way. Spreading the medicine of cacao through this offering is a way to pay forward this precious gift.

Kamal's DJ style is multi-genre that reflects his roots; harnessing the rhythms of Latin America, the Earth and the Stars. His sets tend to weave together field recordings, toning drones, mantras, traditional instrumentation, and global electronic beats that call in that fuego Latino. He believes in the power of dance as a healing modality which can merge the dancer into ‘nada yoga’ (union though sound)

Kamal listens to silence, cultivated from over a decade of following a meditation practice. In this silence, this space between, the wave is born. These sound journeys find audiences at summer music festivals, yoga sessions, meditation groups, plant ceremony circles, and has contributed music regularly as part of ‘Freedance’ Auckland’s weekly ecstatic dance community as well as Dance Temple Motueka
