Dharma Connection
Dharma is a beautiful word deriving from Sanskrit and meaning ‘to uphold’ or ‘sustain order’. It also refers to ones duty or spiritual purpose. One of the key factors in positive mental health is to have a sense of meaning and purpose. When life has meaning and spiritual direction, we are able to break the shackles of inertia and move forward with positivity and confidence. We, Sarah & Jason, believe that we can utilize ancient tools such as Qigong, Yoga, Breathwork, Soundcurrent (frequency & mantra) and meditation to help bring this sense of meaning and purpose into our lives.
QIGONG with jase
Jase is offering Qigong classes in Haumoana & Te Awanga. He has a facebook page with regular updates on when and where these community classes will be held. Often these are on a Sunday morning and if sunny, outside barefoot on the grass or on the beach, to enhance the connection with nature and for us to absorb more of the good energy and Qi from the natural environment.
Qigong is a relaxing gentle practice suitable for everyone. Qigong means energy cultivation: cultivating and enhancing the flows of energy within the physical and energetic bodies, to enhance wellbeing, peace and happiness. The practice is done standing, no yoga mat required, just breath, awareness and meditative movement. Connected deeply to the elements, seasons and nature.
